Service Description
Yin Myofascial Release is a deep, restorative practice that combines Yin Yoga with targeted myofascial release techniques to release constricted tissues, ease muscle knots, and improve flexibility and mobility. Using a variety of self-myofascial release props such as foam rollers, trigger balls, soft balls, yoga rings, yoga blocks, straps, and more, the practice focuses on trouble spots to gently loosen tight fascia, reduce tension, and restore freedom of movement. This practice also targets the body’s energy channels, which run through the fascia. Similar to acupressure or trigger-point release, it gently massages connective tissue and clears blockages, allowing energy to flow freely throughout the body. Both emotional and physical stress can cause fascia to tighten, leading to aches, stiffness, and muscular imbalances. Over time, joint compensations and tissue overload can result in fatigue, injuries, or referral pain. Yin Myofascial Release helps maintain joint health, prevent imbalances, and improve overall mobility.
