Yin Yoga for Hip Opening is designed to release tight hip flexors, alleviate lower back stiffness and pain, increasing mobility for both hip and lower back, so that you can practice your daily activities with more comfort and boundless energy! This is an excellent session for relieving tight hips and for releasing problematic tension that may potentially impinge the sciatic nerve. The practice focused on lengthening, rather than engaging, the musculature and connective tissues surrounding the hips. Expect a session that is firm but gentle, soft but strong, and physical but introspective. It creates a perfect balance between lengthening and strengthening our tissues, and invites silent meditative space into our practice. Benefits of hip opening through Yin Yoga: - We release tension in the hip flexors — through diaphragmatic breathing, static stretching and joint mobilisation. - Improve mobility in the hips, pelvis and lower back. - Lengthen the hip flexors, abs and quadriceps. - And free up the pelvis.
