About the event

Introducing Art Meditation as part of your mindfulness practice is calming and can be a wonderful source of creativity. Being involved in an art experience can create flow and help focus the brain, therefore allowing for a more effective and rewarding mindful experience.

Mindfulness can be much more than just sitting down and meditate. There are various types of meditation, techniques and many hands-on activities that can help promote mindfulness. Mindful Meditation through Art is a creative form of meditation, and best of all - there is no need for you to be an artist or need any experience for practice! The point isn’t about perfection, it’s mindfulness. There are many benefits of a mindfulness practice. It can help with memory, stress, and even your health. By being more mindful on a regular basis you may experience better sleep, help with chronic pain, and even a boost in your immune system.

This session is suitable for all. Class will be conducted indoor with air-condition. You may wish to bring a jacket or shawl.
