Terms & Disclaimer
This Agreement governs your participation in all classes, sessions, workshops, retreats, events and services provided by Ministry of Yoga Wellness. By registering, booking, purchasing, or attending any service provided by Ministry of Yoga Wellness, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
1. Definitions
In this Agreement, the following terms have the meanings set out below.
Activity:
Refers to any activity undertaken by you during a class, session, workshop, retreat or event conducted by Ministry of Yoga Wellness. Activities may include yoga practice, prenatal yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound therapy, relaxation practices, wellness training, and other related wellness activities.
Event:
Refers to any class, private session, workshop, training, retreat, online session, or wellness event conducted by Ministry of Yoga Wellness.
Agreement:
Refers to this Client Agreement, including any online registration, booking form, purchase of wellness plans, health declarations, and personal data forms submitted by you.
Existing Condition:
Refers to any physical, mental, medical or health condition that may affect your participation in an Activity. This includes, but is not limited to:
• pregnancy
• asthma
• heart conditions
• diabetes
• epilepsy
• injuries
• chronic illness
• physical limitations
• mental health conditions
• medication usage
or any other condition that could increase your Risk of Injury during participation.
Equipment:
Refers to any equipment or props used during an Event, including yoga mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, massage tables, sound therapy instruments, singing bowls, chimes, blankets, or other wellness equipment.
Fees:
Refers to any payments made by you for classes, sessions, wellness plans, workshops, retreats, or other services provided by Ministry of Yoga Wellness.
Loss:
Refers to any liabilities, claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal costs and professional fees).
Physical Activity:
Refers to any form of movement or exercise undertaken during an Event. This may include stretching, yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation positions, mobility movements, relaxation techniques, and other wellness-related activities.
Protected Persons:
Refers to Ministry of Yoga Wellness, its instructors, trainers, staff, representatives, volunteers, contractors, service providers, and partners involved in delivering the Event.
Related Agreements:
Refers to any additional agreements or policies you may enter into with Ministry of Yoga Wellness, including booking policies, cancellation policies, and wellness plans.
Representatives:
Refers to Ministry of Yoga Wellness instructors, employees, or agents delivering the Event.
Risk of Injury:
Refers to the potential risk of injury or harm arising from participation in an Event, including but not limited to:
• muscle strains
• sprains
• dizziness
• minor injuries
• serious injury
• disability
• medical complications
• death
Rules:
Refers to any rules, safety guidelines, policies, or etiquette relating to participation in classes or Events.

We / Us / Our:
Refers to Ministry of Yoga Wellness.
You / Your:
Refers to the participant registering for or attending an Event.
2. Fees and Payment
2.1 You may only attend an Event once all required Fees have been paid in full.
2.2 All purchases of wellness plans, sessions, or services are subject to the cancellation and refund policies stated on the website or booking page.
2.3 Ministry of Yoga Wellness reserves the right to update pricing or policies at any time.
3. Health Declaration & Personal Responsibility
3.1 By participating in any Event, you confirm that:
• You are physically and mentally able to participate safely.
• You will inform the instructor of any Existing Condition before the session.
• You will practice within your own physical limits.
3.2 You understand that Ministry of Yoga Wellness instructors are not medical professionals.
Any guidance provided during an Event should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
3.3 You are responsible for seeking advice from a qualified healthcare professional before participating if you have any medical concerns.
3.4 You agree not to participate in any Activity if you are aware that doing so could worsen an Existing Condition.
3.5 Ministry of Yoga Wellness Representatives reserve the right to refuse or discontinue your participation if they believe it may pose a risk to your health or safety.
4. Participation in Yoga, Sound Therapy & Wellness Activities
You acknowledge that participation in wellness activities may involve:
• stretching and physical movement
• relaxation techniques
• breathing exercises
• meditation
• sound therapy sessions
• wellness training practices
These activities may carry inherent risks, including physical or emotional responses.
Participation is entirely voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.
5. Prenatal Yoga
Participants attending prenatal yoga sessions confirm that:
• You have consulted your healthcare provider regarding participation.
• You will inform the instructor of any pregnancy-related conditions.
Prenatal yoga sessions are intended to support wellbeing and relaxation but do not replace medical care or advice from healthcare professionals.
6. Sound Therapy Disclaimer
Sound therapy sessions may include instruments such as:
• singing bowls
• chimes
• gongs
• vibrational sound tools
These sessions are intended to promote relaxation and wellbeing.
They do not constitute medical treatment and do not claim to diagnose, cure, or treat any medical condition.
Participants with sound sensitivity, epilepsy, pregnancy, or implanted medical devices should inform the practitioner before the session.
7. Effectiveness and Results
You acknowledge that:
• The outcomes of yoga, sound therapy, or wellness activities cannot be guaranteed.
• Individual experiences and results may vary.
• No specific health, therapeutic, or physical results are promised.
8. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that you are aware of the Risk of Injury associated with participation in wellness activities.
By attending any Event, you voluntarily agree to assume full responsibility for any risks arising from your participation.
9. Waiver and Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to waive and release all claims against:
Ministry of Yoga Wellness and all Protected Persons
for any Loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in an Event.
This includes claims arising from negligence, except where liability cannot legally be excluded under Singapore law.
10. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
Ministry of Yoga Wellness will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items during Events.
11. Photography, Recording & Media
Events may occasionally be photographed or recorded for:
• educational purposes
• service improvement
• marketing and promotional use
If you prefer not to appear in photos or recordings, please inform the instructor prior to the session.
Participants may not record Events for public or commercial use without prior written consent.
12. Personal Data & Privacy
Ministry of Yoga Wellness may collect personal information including:
• name
• contact details
• booking records
• payment information
• health or fitness declarations relevant to participation
This information is used for:
• managing bookings
• delivering services
• improving client experience
• administrative purposes
Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws in Singapore.
13. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during Events including:
• class content
• videos
• written materials
• choreography
• branding
are the intellectual property of Ministry of Yoga Wellness.
These materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.
14. Conduct & Participation
Ministry of Yoga Wellness reserves the right to remove or refuse participation to anyone who:
• behaves inappropriately
• disrupts the session
• fails to follow safety instructions
• violates class rules
15. Minors
Participants under 18 years of age must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian.
Parents or guardians accept responsibility for the minor’s participation and compliance with this Agreement.
16. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
17. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, purchasing, or attending any service provided by Ministry of Yoga Wellness, you confirm that:
• You have read this Agreement
• You understand the terms
• You voluntarily agree to be bound by this Agreement
